09/11/2001- A day to remember...{Journey through the past-1}

 Hello everyone, I welcome you all back on this blog, from today I will be starting a series of post called "Journey through the past " here we will know more about some dark past events, so without wasting any more time, let's begin..

What if I say that an aeroplane was flying and suddenly crashed to a building, most of you will not believe me at first, but what if I say that something like this already happened in the past??

I know most of you must be knowing about this unique date~ 09.11.2001, one fine morning in New York, everything was going smoothly and happily, but something happend which made this date a remarkable one, one accident took lives of thousands and thousands of people, yes I am taking about the famous 9/11 attack..

So today we are going to know about, 

i》What happened to the W.T.C?

ii》What type of attack was 9/11?

iii》Flight 93...

iv》What happened to the Twin Tower?

v》 How many people died?

So let's begin..

9/11 attack is a very famous attack which took place in New York City, the Islamic group, Al Qaeda were behind this cruel attack, they hijacked 4 planes, among which,

2 of them hit the Twin towers, The World Centre, 1 hit the Pentagon, and the last one crashed in Pennsylvania..

☆ What happens to the World Trade Centre?

•It was 8:45 am, on a Tuesday morning everything was working smoothly suddenly a plane of American Airlines, 767, collided with the World Trade Centre, on the 80th floor, everyone was shocked and thousands of people lost their lives, just 18 minutes and what everyone sees?

Another attack on the same building, the plane collided with the 60th floor, leaving behind the dead bodies and the shattered debris...

☆What type of attack was it?

•It was an - Airplane hijack, Mass Murder, Suicide attack and of course Terrorism.

☆Flight 93..

•The United Flight 93 was hijacked within 40 minutes, as it started flying, it took off from New Jersey, after which the terrorist hijacked the planes, a lot of crew members and passengers tried to revolt and held the terrorist back, but nothing worked. Even there are many call records of the passengers on board talking to their love ones..

☆ What happened to the Twin Towner??

It was a movement of horror in New York, it was less than 10 minutes , when the terrorists hit the building it collapsed, a building which was built to withstand tremendous wind and fire collapsed.. Only 6 people out of total survived..

☆ How many people died??

•Total of 2,996 died in this attack that also included 19 hijackers.

2,763 people died at world trade centre,

189 people were killed at Pentagon, and

44 people died in Pennsylvania...

Such a sad event, though there are many questions left like..

What happened to Osama Bin Laden, America's response etc...

But for today, I believe it's enough..
